1. My travel dates are in October 2016, who will provide the insurance cover?

 

 

2. Who will provide the insurance cover for travel tickets booked prior to October 1st 2016?

 

If you booked your tickets prior to October 1st and you are due to travel before October 1st, then Zurich will provide cover. If you are due to travel post October 1st, then AXA will provide cover.

 

3. How can I obtain a travel insurance certificate from October 1st 2016?

 

 

If you have already obtained a travel insurance certificate from Zurich for travel post October 1st 2016 and in case you need new travel insurance certificate you can contact AXA to get it.

 

4. Are the benefits offered by the new insurance provider similar to those offered by the existing insurance provider?

 

 

5. In the event of a claim, or if I require any further information whom should I contact?

1. My travel dates are in October 2016, who will provide the insurance cover?

  • From October 1st 2016 onwards, cover will be provided by the new provider AXA.
  • If your trip commenced on or before September 30th 2016, cover for incidents occurring up to the maximum covered trip duration of 30 days will be provided by Zurich, cover for incidents occurring on or after October 1st 2016 will be provided by AXA.

 

2. Who will provide the insurance cover for travel tickets booked prior to October 1st 2016?

If you booked your tickets prior to October 1st and you are due to travel before October 1st, then Zurich will provide cover. If you are due to travel post October 1st, then AXA will provide cover.

 

3. How can I obtain a travel insurance certificate from October 1st 2016?

  • For trips commencing on or after October 1st 2016;

 

If you have already obtained a travel insurance certificate from Zurich for travel post October 1st 2016 and in case you need new travel insurance certificate you can contact AXA to get it.
