HSBC's Financial Institutions Group (FIG) is a global function directed by the Co-Global Heads of FIG within HSBC Holdings Plc. Within HBME, FIG is headquartered in Dubai, whereas FIG Qatar was launched in 2007 with on-ground presence.

The FIG team is dedicated to servicing the financing, banking, strategic, and capital raising needs of banks, insurance, non-banking financial and investment institutions alike. With access to the full range of HSBC products and services, FIG acts as a local point of contact and Global Relationship Manager (GRM) for all local clients and Regional Relationship Manager (RRM) for all foreign clients, respectively. This approach is designed to reflect the importance that we place on long-term relationships and in providing tailored local and cross-border solutions for our clients
