Training and Development
HSBC Qatar is equipped with its own local training resources and delivers training in several areas of banking. Additionally, the Regional Training Centre in Dubai and the Group Training and Development centre in UK support HSBC Qatar in a broad range of training courses. Training for all new entrants starts with a 4 day Induction programme that provides essential information on HSBC's, History, Vision, and the Key values among other relevant topics. Besides this, job relevant technical and soft skills training form an individual's Training Plan for the entire year. An annual training calendar for general banking courses is also circulated to all staff periodically.
